Hi, my name is Stefano. I'm a Digital Humanist and currently a post doctoral researcher at University of Bologna. My main research areas are Knowledge Representation, Semantic Web, and AI. Some of the topics I get excited about and I've been working on are emotions, moral and cultural values, commonsense knowledge, social norms and embodied cognition.
I firmly believe in empathy. If there is anything that can save the 21st century, it is the human cognitive imaginative ability to put oneself in someone else's shoes. Every day, both personal and working aspects of life, are an opportunity to exercise the listening and understanding abilities. The unknown is just an entity not yet framed in a network of meaningful semantic relationships.
